How to Copy an Existing Crop Plan

Last Updated: Feb 20, 2019 09:24AM CST
If you have somewhat consistent expenses and outside incomes, there is no need to worry about having to re-enter all of this data every year for a new plan.

When creating a plan for a new year, you will have the option to Copy data from existing plan in the Plan Targets section.

Choose which year's Production that you would like to copy from using the Select a plan dropdown. Only years in which you have entered values in the Plan will be available to copy from. Thus, if the GrainBridge planning tool has been used for the past 3 years, 3 years of Production plans will be available to copy from.
NOTE: This will copy all expenses, incomes, and profit goals from the selected plan.

You will then be prompted to choose which profile you would like to copy from.
Double check that you are copying to the profile that you want.

Click Copy plan to complete the copy process and save.

If there are expenses, incomes, or targets that are going to be different for this new year's crop plan, be sure to go into each of these sections and update the values accordingly.
